The long journey of eighteen riders on horses to bring the statue of St. Michael the Archangel from the sanctuary of Monte Sant’Angelo, in Puglia, to Mont Saint Michel in Normandy (France) has begun. They will walk the ancient sheep tracks. From 8 to 10 May they will be in Molise.
On 5 May there is the festival of nature reserves. Molise celebrates its oldest naturalistic oasis, the oasis of Casacalenda, inaugurated 25 years ago.
Street art and Mysteries: this is the theme of the ImbrARTiamo project, by Malatesta Associati in collaboration with the municipality of Campobasso. Artists who experiment with the redevelopment of the peripheral areas of the city with themes inspired by the “Mysteries” of Campobasso.
The weather will be highly variable on May 1 in Italy and in Molise. What to do and where to go? We recommend you to go towards the sea, where the weather will be mild and sunny. In particular we recommend you to visit Termoli, the delightful seaside town of the coast.
A sunny and warm weekend is expected. Ideal for an outdoor trip, to discover the untouched nature of Molise. Come and discover the Matese, not far from Campobasso.
