A lot has been said about it during Christmas 2018. The photos have been around the world on the web, literally driving social media crazy. We are talking about the most creative tree in Italy, the one crocheted by the wise hands of the women of Trivento, a delightful village in the province of Campobasso.
A colorful patchwork of an almost ancestral know-how that must be kept, preserved and handed down.
In 2019 we will be able to see these fantastic crochet Christmas trees not only in Trivento but also in other parts of Italy and abroad, thanks to the project ‘A thread that unites from Trivento to …’, joined by 35 Italian cities (from Lucera to Venice) and 3 foreign cities in Belgium, Sweden and Brazil.
A praise to the art and passion of these fantastic knitters!
