On the 31st of May, the “Infiorata” takes place down the streets of the old town of Campobasso at the end of the month dedicated to the celebration of the Madonna del Monte. The “Infiorata” is the procession of the statue of the Madonna del Monte along a route marvelously decorated by carpets of flowers representing sacred images made by the believers.
