On 5 May there is the festival of nature reserves managed by the environmental association LIPU (Italian League for Bird Protection). Molise celebrates its oldest protected area, the oasis of Casacalenda, inaugurated 25 years ago, precisely on 26 June 1994.
It is a hilly forest that covers about 150 hectares, which can be explored thanks to two kilometers of nature trails at low difficulty.

An unmissable opportunity to spend a beautiful day immersed in nature, led by experts who will guide you to discover the flowers, birds and butterflies that populate the oasis.
At 10.00: guided tour in the oasis. At 11.30 am: games inspired by birds. Not to be missed.
