On Sunday 13 October 2019, on the occasion of the FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano) autumn days, the FAI Campobasso delegation takes us to discover little-known places in Molise.
We are in Torella del Sannio, a small village in the province of Campobasso, which boasts a medieval castle, acquired by the Ciamarra family in the early 1800s and today declared a National Monument.
Here lived Elena Ciamarra (Naples, 1894 – Naples, 1981), a renowned painter, composer and musician. The castle houses the museum house of Elena Ciamarra, where you can admire a rich selection of paintings by Elena Ciamarra.
Following the visit to the castle and the museum house, a visit to the artistic workshop of Fernando Izzi is planned. Izzi is a craftsman and artist dedicated to wrought iron working, active in Italy and abroad.
An event not to be missed.
