It is one of the most suggestive and scenographic processions of Molise. 2020 opens the first virtual edition, in a mix of artistic performances and new technologies.

The ‘Mysteries’ of Campobasso are thirteen processional structures or machines, called ‘ingegni’, which parade in procession through the historic center, carried by about 250 porters.
The structures are true masterpieces of craftsmanship: made in the mid-18th century by the sculptor Saverio Paolo Di Zinno, they are still fully functional.

The first ‘virtual’ edition of the Festival of ‘Mysteries’ will take place from 11 to 14 June 2020. ’Ingegnarsi’, a marathon of artists who will tell the mysteries of Campobasso on a ‘virtual stage’.
A mix of artistic performances and new technologies, which will allow you to experience, even if only virtually, the traditional festival.
It is a project supported by the Molise Region and the Municipality of Campobasso.
