“Architecture of the Myth” is the title of Margherita Lipinska’s solo exhibition, curated by Carmen D’Antonino and on display at the Spazio Arte Petrecca in Isernia until 2 June 2019.
Margherita Lipinska, of Polish origin, has lived and worked in Rome since 1991.
The distinctive feature of her artistic research is the special relationship with the classical world, with the ancient art and the myth “a reassuring terrain” for Lipinska where she can carry out her artistic research “in front of a present full of uncertainties“. His painting is therefore “an investigation of time and an interaction with the present in the awareness of belonging to the Western civilization with Greco-Roman roots“.
These elements are clearly evident in the current exhibition in Isernia. You can admire large-format works, inspired by classicism but heavily contaminated, with bright colors and unusual supports.
