Street artists from all over the world, music, street food, trekking, walls tour: this and more you will find at the CVTà street fest in Civitacampomarano, the small village of Molise in the province of Campobasso. The festival, born in 2016, is organized by the pro loco of Civitacampomarano, in collaboration with the CivitArt Cultural Association and the artistic direction of Alice Pasquini.
What is CVTà street fest? A creative event, a street art festival that animates a small Molise village in the province of Campobasso, Civitacampomarano (“Cvtà” in the dialect of its inhabitants). CVTà street fest – in the intent of its organizers and in the concrete results – is much more than a simple festival: it is a real feast, in which visitors mix with the artists and the inhabitants of the place, in a unique experience.
Not only art, but also music, cinema and gastronomic traditions. Do not miss, in fact, the cooking workshops with the locals to learn how to cook some of the typical dishes of Civitacampomarano, or the “tour of the walls” that marked the restyling of the village in past editions.
Can street art save a small town in Molise from abandonment? Maybe yes. These are concrete results: over 10,000 visitors, 15 artists and musicians from 6 countries, 2 commercial activities opened and 1 property under renovation by Airbnb.
