Did you know that Molise also has its Romeo and Juliet? In Campobasso they are called Delicata and Fonzo, but the greatest love story of all time is the same.

Of course it is a legend, but what does it matter? They are not Montecchi and Capuleti but Crusaders and Trinitarians. The greatest love story of all time.
We are in Campobasso in 1587. The city is divided between two opposing confraternities the Crusaders, to which the beautiful Delicata Civerra belongs, and the Trinitarians, to which the young Fonzo Mastrangelo belongs.
Due to this irremediable hatred, which also prohibits marriages between members of two opposing factions, Delicata and Fonzo cannot crown their dream of love.
Delicata’s father locks his daughter in a tower in the heart of the historic center of Campobasso, the Terzano tower, where, a few months later, she will die.

A contrasted love that will be recalled on Valentine’s Day, the most awaited moment of Campobasso in Love 2020, a billboard of events designed by the city administration for the whole month of February.
On Friday 14 February, at 7 pm in front of the Terzano tower, in the heart of the historic center, the actress Daniela Poggi will recall the story of Delicata and Fonzo.
